Rwanda Fun

Last year December my friend Christine and I decided to Rwanda for a colleague wedding and have fun. I remember jokingly we decided to back our bags and go for this trip. We had everything in place except the ticket and my friend need to have a passport grrrrh and again it was over the Christmas festivity, all buses were fully booked till end of Christmas but we managed to get one out of sheer luck. She got a passport to and there we go little did we know that we will encounter the same problem when we arrive to Kampala. The bus were fully booked up to Kigali again think luck was on our side we got a space and there we go.

The trip was fun with interesting stuff like in Kampala people even hawk red meat unlike in Kenya only roasted meat. We also found a great friend called Joyce, she was travelling to the countryside and acted as our tour guide almost throughout the journey. I miss her a lot. Anyway the trip was great and we arrived Kigali almost 8pm in the evening.

The next day was all about visiting colleagues and places. We visited the Kigali Nakumat supermarket they also provide money transfer service M Pesa. It was a great trip. Here are fact about Rwanda;

• Rwanda is an environmental friendly country. No papers in Rwanda
• There main language Chirwanda and French
• I love their community policies
• One has to have a spare bag for carrying cash

It was a great experience.
